The MCOR web site is supported by public funds and resources as part of the City of Plano operations. As a result, any information on the web site, links, and information (including personal identification information) that is sent, received, or stored as a result of going to this site is subject to the provisions of the Texas Public Information Act and may be disclosed as required by law. Because of this Act, MCOR and the City of Plano cannot provide any privacy guarantees to those who interact with the web site, as the information sent or received, including inquires, may be deemed public information.

WEB POLICY

The purpose of the web site is to provide information about the activities of MCOR. The web site will be controlled by a web manager subject to the policies and procedures adopted by the chairs of MCOR.

The web site's primary purpose is to provide information regarding MCOR's activities, including agendas, meetings, subcommittee assignments, events, etc. There shall be no posting or links to commercial entities or for political or religious purposes.

The web site is to promote the activities of MCOR. Any permission to place links or postings on this site is solely at the discretion of MCOR's assigned representative(s). Third party postings and links may be revised or deleted at any time with or without notice. Third parties have no right to use or maintain information on this web site.

Posting of information and links to other web pages from the MCOR web site by third parties is limited to the following groups of users and categories of information.

  1. Other governmental agencies that are operating in the United States.
  2. Information and class schedules for instruction in English and citizenship. Non-religious academic tutoring for students and adults, including time and location when offered by religious and non-profit entities. No additional information is permitted beyond the scope of the information noted above.
  3. Events for which the MCOR is a participant, i.e. festivals and other public events. These include cultural events whose major theme is to promote awareness and understanding of the unique practices and customs of their society through an inclusive approach.
  4. Information from non-profit organizations that identify programs offered on diversity and cultural events whose major theme is to promote awareness and understanding of the unique customs of a society through an inclusive approach.
